What is a church? A church is a group of baptized believers, meeting regularly to worship God the Creator, through Jesus Christ, to learn to apply His Word, to make disciples and celebrate the Lord’s supper, under the guidance of appointed leaders. Church is an essential part of following Jesus.

Ask God for:

• Healthy disciples to reproduce
• Physical locations to gather regularly
• Leaders with elder-like character to be raised up (I Timothy 3; Titus 1)
• A hunger for the Word
• A culture of confession, repentance and restoration
• Distinction from the world in love and holiness
• Faithful giving
• Churches to start churches
• Members to persevere in the face of persecution
• Churches to do good in Jesus’ name
